3.Collection and Use of History Information

- (1)Collection of History Information
History Information is defined as information related to the action history and individual characteristics of customers who have visited our website, etc., which does not include information that identifies individuals. Specifically, it refers to information such as the domain name and IP address in use, and the organization name assigned to them, the date and time of access, file name, URL of the page from which the link originated, the type of browser and OS in use, individual identification information of mobile terminals, advertising identifiers, Cookies, etc.

Forit will use history information to make our services more convenient for customers. The collected history information of customers is used for statistical analysis of website usage, reference for service improvement, investigation and survey of causes of system failure and unauthorized access, and to provide with the most appropriate content, advertisements (including targeted advertisements), various service announcements, etc. to customers. The History Information will be retained only for the period of time that is lawful and legitimately required in the course of business.

Forit may provide with the history information we have acquired after ensuring that it is information that does not lead to the identification of specific individuals to behavioral targeting advertising companies (hereinafter referred to as "advertising delivery companies") or FreeBit Co., Ltd. (https://freebit.com/) and its group companies (https://freebit.com/profile/group.html). The history information provided by Forit will be analyzed and used for the purpose of delivering optimal advertisements and service content customized to customer's needs, interests, and concerns. Customers wishing to disable behavioral targeting advertising can access the opt-out page of the advertising delivery companies to disable the use of Cookies, etc. It will be necessary to set up the Cookies again when changing browsers, deleting Cookies, or changing to a new PC.
- Use of Google Analytics
Some of Forit pages use the access analysis tool “Google Analytics”, which allows Google to collect, record and analyze customers visits to our website based on Cookies issued by Forit. The data collected by Google Analytics does not contain any personally identifiable information and will be managed by Google in accordance with its privacy policy. Customers may opt out of the collection of such data by disabling Google Analytics in your browser's add-on settings.

4.Security Measures of Personal Information

(1)Forit will take necessary and appropriate safety management measures to prevent any leakage, destruction, and damage of customer’s personal information.

(2)Forit will establish an internal system to prevent any unauthorized access to personal information, establish rules on information security, and provide employees with the necessary and appropriate education to ensure that they are thoroughly familiar with the handling of personal information.

(3)If Forit outsources operations that handle personal information from customers to other companies, Forit shall only select those who handle personal information appropriately as the outsourcing partner, and shall execute agreements that require the outsourcing partner to appropriately manage personal information and shall supervise the outsourcing partner in an appropriate manner.
